In 1996, Scott & Julienne Audette founded Valley View Sanitation Services, Inc. a family owned and operated waste removal company in Upstate New York. For over 23 years they maintained an exemplary reputation for providing excellent service which lead to them building a loyal customer base of over 700 commercial customers in the Capital Region. Valley View was then acquired by Waste Connections in 2019 in which it marked the end of an era for the family. 

Two years after being acquired Scott and his son Alec were eyeing a new industry (Power Sweeping). In 2021, they started Standard Sweeping, LLC. with the goal to provide local customers with an industry leading level of service. As of 2023 Roman Audette (Scott's Youngest) has also joined us here at STANDARD and is excited to bring his knowledge and hard work ethic. Further solidifying that we are in this to build relationships for generations to come.
